Translations is looking for an
English to French translator
to work for their team in
New York.
Description:
The
Quality Manager is the third party to review a
translation document
in the life cycle of a project. The QM is responsible to
compare the
translation to the original, ensure there have been no
mistranslated
words/phrase and also that the translation coveys the same
meaning as
the original. They are also ensuring the project is both
grammatically
correct and appropriate. The QM acts a the liaison for the
clients and
the PM team. Should there be any discrepancies from the
client, the QM
will educate when necessary on things like dialect choice
based on
target audience, for example. A QM is expected to have a
sense of
urgency and the ability to juggle multiple projects
simultaneously.
